Design Elements
Creative introductions
The style I (and many others I suppose) refer to as “the pitch” is when you introduce a site in a visually prominent and very succinct way. My biggest frustration with some sites is not being able to tell what they are selling or represent with out trying to hard.
More merry mascots
There are countless mascots in use on the web, I am disapointed in myself for never picking up on this and making my own collection. Oh well. Here is another fine set to show off the style.
Sites with mascots
The notion of using mascots is certainly not new, but it is still fun to see how people are taking this element to new levels. Sites like MailChimp are well known for their brilliant usage of the style.
Web Typography
Enjoy this collection of beautiful web based typography. Much of it is wrapped up in images, but none the less it is beautiful type in use on the web.
40 Tagline designs via feedgrids.com
Feedgrids.com has a great collection of tag line designs. In my second book I have the same concept which I refereed to as “The Pitch.” Same idea though. Enjoy the beautiful designs.
