I am hard pressed to think of a type of web site that doesn’t need a call to action of some sort. As such, this collection of call to action buttons should be very useful.
A call to action
The call to action button is a near cousin of the more basic button. In this case the call to action not only needs to be clicked, but it offers up a more compelling reason to do so. This collection of samples shows that a number of motivational factors can be leveraged when creating such design elements.
A call to action!
One of the most critical elements of a commercially oriented site is the call to action. What is it you want your users to do? In my book the real answer to optimizing this is a/b testing. Take a good stab at it, and then try variations. Chances are not good you will get it right the first time, so don’t kill yourself. Just get started and tweak as you go.
